Rey’s corporate and commercial law practice spans special projects, mergers and acquisitions, securities transactions, and corporate compliance. He also has experience in corporate housekeeping, corporate rehabilitation and insolvency proceedings, financial and organizational restructuring, public-private partnership bidding projects, estate settlements, construction law, and contract review. He is also an experienced litigator handling criminal, civil, labor, and administrative cases.

He earned his Juris Doctor degree from San Beda College–Alabang. Prior to law school, he completed his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science at the Mindanao State University–Iligan Institute of Technology. He is also a Certified Compliance Officer accredited by the Center for Global Best Practices.

He is a member of the Philippine Bar.
